During my Sophomore year, I was a Business Development Intern for the Marketing Cloud in Indianapolis.
Tech and digital marketing blended together for me at my time at Salesforce. While I had always taken an interest in marketing, I hardly knew anything about Silicon Valley. I was placed on the Enterprise Business Development team in order to help qualify high profile companies on the West coast. I was able to learn the powerful Salesforce platform, and how to best manage the data in a sales setting.
While Sales was my primary focus within my internship, I wanted to develop small innovations in my role in order to help the next intern class. I created an interactive spread sheet for my team that allowed them to prioritize their prospective clients, as well as developed a team logo (See below), and an intern video Do’s and Don’ts in the sales intern role.
